Q & A Audio Conference: Grant Opportunities To Fund Services in Supportive Housing

Tuesday, March 24, 2009, 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. ET

The National Alliance To End Homelessness and the Corporation for Supportive Housing will co-host a free Web-based conference call on the recent Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s (SAMHSA) request for applications. SAMHSA staff will make a brief presentation and be available to answer questions. This call is designed to provide information to organizations that are considering applying for SAMHSA funding under either the Services in Supportive Housing program or the Treatment for Homeless program.

Please note that you must have Windows Media Player to participate. A podcast will be available online following the audio conference.

The Recovery Month Planning Partners have called for nominations for the second annual Ramstad-Kennedy Award for Outstanding Leadership by a Single State Authority Leader. The 2009 Award will be presented during the June 4-7, 2009 NASADAD annual meeting in Syracuse, NY. Michael Botticelli, Director of the Bureau of Substance Abuse Services at the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, won last year’s award. Nominations due March 31, 2009. Please pass on this information.
