Synopsis The principle purpose of this project is to improve management for the Teshekpuk Lake Caribou Herd. By deploying collars in late June could best assure that collars are deployed on TCH caribou, rather than another herd, and to take advantage of natural conditions which promote grouping of caribou in a centrally located area to increase recapture efficiency.
